Happy New Year! We made it back from Nashville safe & sound. I must say that this was the best New Year trip I have ever been on. I went with my best friend, Jamie...who I have grown up with and been best friends with since Elementary School. We enjoyed 2 days of bliss in Music City. I want to share it with you:
And we're off! We woke up in Huntsville which cut our trip in half. It was flippin' freeeezing! But we are so excited it didn't even matter. Notice my Northface jacket? It was wet because I didn't fully dry it the night before. NOT a good idea...
Our hotel. Chilin at the Holiday Inn on Broadway Street.
Awesome building across the street from our hotel.
Yeah...me & Elvis made out. No big deal!
Preparation!
Going out out the town to bring in the New Year with some flare!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
At Tootsies famous bar. Could not move or breath in there!
My New Year's kiss
After a long night we busted open confetti in the hotel to cap off the evening!
Gaylord Opryland hotel
Cool gardens that smelled so lively and fresh thrive all throughout the 9 acre building
See all the hotel rooms? They overlook the gardens, boat rides, restaurants, and attractions. Massive I tell ya, we got lost a million times in there.
BEAUTIFUL Christmas tree! It was huge!
Now to see Ice sculptures...
The building was full of ice sculptures - How the Grinch Stole Christmas was the theme.
They gave us parkas because it was 9 degrees in there. Crazy!
We were at the top to slide down a slide made of ice!
Nativity Scene.
How could you go to Nashville and not eat at the Hardrock Cafe? Twisted Chicken Mac & Cheese with an Appletini was the way to go.
Representing on the way home!
We had so much fun. Nashville was a wonderful pleasure to visit. I want to go back!
